AnnaChef offers refunds for cancelled services under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation is made within the specified notice period
  • The service has not been partially or fully rendered
  • No other violations of our Terms of Service have occurred

2. Cancellation Notice Requirements

2.1 One-Time Meal Service

Notice Period: 24 hours before scheduled service

If cancelled with 24 hours notice, you are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will forfeit 50% of the payment.

2.2 Weekly Meal Plan

Notice Period: 7 days before the next billing cycle

If cancelled with 7 days notice, you are eligible for a full refund for the upcoming week. Cancellations with less notice will forfeit the payment for that week.

2.3 Monthly Meal Plan

Notice Period: 7 days before the next billing cycle

If cancelled with 7 days notice, you are eligible for a full refund for the upcoming month. Cancellations with less notice will forfeit the payment for that month.

2.4 Party Catering Service

Notice Period: 14 days before the event

If cancelled with 14 days notice, you are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations with 7-14 days notice will forfeit 25% of the payment. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will forfeit 50% of the payment.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations are non-refundable:

  • Service has been partially or fully rendered
  • Cancellation is made without meeting the notice period requirements
  • Customer-initiated changes to the service after confirmation
  • Services cancelled due to customer unavailability (e.g., not being home)
  • Disputes arising from customer dissatisfaction with meal quality (unless proven to be below standards)

4. Quality-Related Refunds

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of service provided, please report the issue within 24 hours of service completion. We will investigate and may offer:

  • A replacement service at no additional cost
  • A partial or full refund, depending on the severity of the issue
  • A cook replacement for future services

5. Refund Processing

5.1 Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days from the date of cancellation request. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used.

5.2 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If you paid via credit/debit card, the refund will appear in your card statement within 5-7 business days. For other payment methods, processing times may vary.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please:

  • Submit a cancellation request through our website (if available)

7. Partial Refunds

In cases where service has been partially rendered, we will calculate the refund based on the portion of service not provided. For example, if you cancel after 2 out of 5 days of a weekly plan, you will receive a refund for the remaining 3 days.

8. Cook Unavailability

If AnnaChef is unable to provide a cook due to unforeseen circumstances, we will:

  • Provide advance notice (minimum 48 hours when possible)
  • Offer alternative cook assignment
  • Provide a full refund if no alternative is acceptable

9. Special Circumstances

In cases of emergency or exceptional circumstances, AnnaChef may consider refunds outside the standard policy. Please contact us directly to discuss your situation.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you believe a refund has been incorrectly denied, you may escalate your case by:

  • Sending a detailed email to cook@annaChef.site with supporting documentation
  • Requesting a review within 30 days of the refund denial
  • Following our formal dispute resolution process
